Homemade Garam Masala: A Flavorful Alternative to Store-Bought Versions

In my childhood home, the concept of eating seasonally was not a topic of discussion, notwithstanding the exception of corn on the cob. Freshly-picked from a local New Jersey farm, corn on the cob was a treat to be enjoyed according to my father’s rule.

For me, corn on the cob remains a special summer delight; I still relish it the way I did in my childhood: jubilantly covering the kernels with butter, sprinkling on a hint of salt, and diving in with enthusiasm.

We have compiled 20 recipes featuring corn — some with the cob and some without — to celebrate and utilize this seasonal delight. However, these recipes are not confined to the summer season. By freezing the corn, either on the cob or de-cobbed, you can relish these delightful corn dishes all year round.
