Sliced Flapjacks on a Plate Next to a Glass of Tea, a Creamer With Cream, and a Small Saucer

A visit to my in-laws isn’t complete without a barbecue. Each 4th of July they fire up the grill for their ritual of making ribs, hamburgers, and all-beef sausages. Although we no longer live nearby and miss being part of the large 4th of July gatherings they used to host, we have kept the grilling tradition alive at our home.

The grill is not just another cooking device, it provides versatility. It has the ability to cook quickly on high heat or slowly on low heat, and it can be powered by gas or charcoal. For those new to the grilling world and uncertain about how to start, we have an array of guides to help you grill everything, from vegetables to fish and meat.

Here, you’ll find a list filled with tantalizing skewers, simple vegetables, varieties of hamburgers, and flavorful meats. Since grilling is all about celebrating, why not go the extra mile and make a spicy chili paste or brine your pork. It will certainly make your meal stand out and your efforts will be appreciated. So, rally your friends and family, spark up the grill, and you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
