Over 212,000 pounds of liquid egg products are being recalled due to potential contamination with a cleaning solution.
Cargill Kitchen Solutions has issued a recall for 212,268 pounds of liquid egg products, including Egg Beaters and Bob Evans brands. These might contain a cleaning solution with sodium hypochlorite, the main component in chlorine bleach, as announced by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
