Reser’s Fine Foods has issued a voluntary recall for a product labeled as ALDI Deli Macaroni Salad due to a labeling error. The macaroni salad’s label fails to list wheat as an allergen. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced this recall on May 17.
The FDA has provided an image of the affected product, which is wrongly labeled as Coleslaw when it is actually a macaroni salad. The product comes in a 32-ounce container with a use-by date of June 3, 2024, and has been distributed to ALDI stores across several states: AL, CT, FL, GA, LA, MA, MS, NC, NH, NY, RI, SC, TN, VA, and VT.

Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include hives, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and in severe cases, tightness of the throat or cardiac arrest. If you experience any of these symptoms after eating the macaroni salad, seek medical help immediately by calling 911.
